Taylus Schley learned the art of creating interior concrete furnishings and surfaces over the past decade through his own contractor business experience and continuous workshop training. He approaches all projects with an artistic design-build mentality and believes that concrete provides not only a functional surface, but an artistic one as well. His passion for building custom concrete pieces lead him to incorporate concrete into art and furniture. Using reclaimed, vintage farm equipment and hand-forged steel components, he creates beautiful and masterful furniture, custom sinks, counters, sculptures, and more. He specializes in creating one-of-a-kind pieces designed specifically for you, your home, and your aesthetic.

Kory Orheim is an alumni of Colorado State University with a degree in construction management. He has worked as an engineer and project manager for large scale, high end, commercial projects including University of California San Diego (CA), Four Seasons Resort and Spa (HI), Fontainebleau Hotel and Casino (Vegas).

Looking for a new challenge and a drive to be a part of the maker movement, he joined Stones Design Co. after three years as a general contractor in Longmont. Taylus approached him to help manage the growing business. His extensive business and project management experience as a general contractor give them the experience to take on design build challenges to make any vision come to life.
